Hi everyone – hope you had a nice weekend!
Friday night, Rowen and I kicked things off with a trip to the Science Center for $5 Family Night! Ryan was a little under the weather and
decided to stay home, so to keep us company we invited our neighbor, Lauren and her two year old son along, too! It was so fun to see the two kids play together and
even hold hands while walking around. We
think an arranged marriage is in their future, HA!
I have to stop right here for a second. This was Rowie's FIRST official big girl ponytail. Even though it makes her look like shes four instead of two and a half, it's quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen!
Saturday we didn’t do too much.
I got up early to work out, then rounded the troops to head to the
library and then Menards to buy some supplies for a DIY bathroom project (stay tuned for that). Saturday night we then met up with a couple
of friends to watch the Iowa State Basketball game…pretty low key!
Sunday we invited my sister and parents over for lunch. We ordered BBQ and ended up playing a
few of the new games Rowen got for Christmas…Let’s Go Fishing, Connect Four and
Memory, which surprisingly got quite competitive! Look at the concentration on my sister’s face…I love
it!
Today however, is Monday, which means Meal Plan Monday is on
the blog. And for those of you
wondering, yes, I am still attempting to grocery shop for under $100…this
week’s total was 94.56!
Here’s what’s on
the menu:
Monday: Cheeseburger Ring
Tuesday: Crockpot ZucchiniChicken Parmesan
Wednesday: Beef and Noodle Casserole
Thursday: Fried Rice
Friday: Not Cooking
