Happy Monday!
Like most of you, our weekend was filled with Easter
festivities. This year Rowen was all into the holiday and watching her soak up
every minute of it made me so happy. When parents say having kids make the holidays
more fun, they aren't lying!
Here’s a quick recap of our weekend…
Saturday morning, after gymnastics, Rowen had a surprise (Sofia themed) Easter basket from Ryan’s parents waiting for her!
Later that night we headed to church followed by dinner
and dessert (check out that bunny cake) at my sister’s house.
After dinner, Rowen was given two more Easter
baskets, one from her Aunt Sarah and Uncle Shawn and the other from her grammy and grampy, followed by her
own private egg hunt in the basement…she loved it!
Sunday morning Rowen found yet another Easter basket from
Ryan and I waiting for her when she woke up.
We spent the majority of the morning playing with her new goodies until it was time to meet the rest of the family for our annual Easter brunch!
After brunch it was back to our house to enjoy some
family time, the sunshine, and another egg hunt with Rowen's cousin, Gabriele!
Watching both girls run around like little crazy people with huge grins on their faces made my heart so happy!
After the girls sorted their loot, it was time for bubbles and then it was nap time for both the kids and adults!
